Good Things about this Art Fair:
This one day art fair is held on the circle in downtown Indianapolis. 2015 was their first show.
The weather was perfect, so the attendance was high and lots of buyers. Because it's a busy town, I think the attendance would still have been good even if it rained.
The organizer is easy to work with and I don't think there was such a thing as a "bad spot".
Donuts were also provided to the artist the morning of the setup.
There are all kinds of restaurants around the circle, so...food trucks were not needed.
I've been accepted into the show, again, this year, so...I'm hoping this year is just as great if not greater! :)
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Setting up was easy, but you have to park your car in a garage a block or so away.
Packing up wasn't too bad, either, since they allowed you to pull up next to the curb to load your vehicle.
Also, there were no porta-potties, so you had to go inside one of the restaurants to use the bathroom. I was next to a Starbucks, so...I was okay with that. :)
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
This show is definitely worth applying to. The 2016 application deadline has passed, but...definitely give it a try next year!
