We have metal art with higher price sculptures, sold many over the years. the Spring show is the stronger of the two, but the crowds still come in the fall. This town is loyal in its customers, with many coming spring and fall. The staff will bend over to help in anyway they can, with wonderful security. THIS IS NOT A FINE END ART SHOW with expensive price pieces. but a couple hundred or so is not out of the question. Problem is the spring storms, so have heavy weights with you, the die hard shoppers come in any weather.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Load in and Out is great, if one unloads at the assigned time, driving right up to booth. The site is in an open plaza, or out on the street. I prefer the plaza myself.
Staff is excellent to say the least. Parking is free and less than a block away. Attendees are terrific.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Can and does have extreme winds usually, so bring plenty of weights and don't be afraid to ask for or accept help if offered setting up and tearing down.
Sales haven't been all that great the last few years.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you've got to travel quite a ways or have to get a hotel, think twice as that may be the difference between a profitable show or not.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
The show is extremely well ran by an excellent staff most fairs would be jealous of.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
The load in and out is great along with the staff. Bad weather rolling in on Sunday and staff kept us updated on radar images. Staff is very nice and helpful and available for assistance.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Poor quality of those attending. This show in the past was designed for Fine Artists and now it is more of a Craft Show. I participated the first time 2 yrs ago and required to purchase a white tent although I had a new Tan Tent. Was told White was required of all artists. This year there was yard with no tent at all, pottery booth with only a white umbrella and photography booth with no tent.
This show has damaged its image for those of us in the Fine Art field. Due to the offering of an over amount of crafts the fine art buyers simply did not show.
I am accepted into the fall show but will be withdrawing and will replace the show with another for fall.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you are an artist selling Fine Art, I would seriously consider attending a Fine Art show instead of this one. Although the staff is nice, they have obviously begin to market to a different population. I have had much better results in the past with this show, however missed last years spring and fall show, but it appears that the promoters have shifted gears to craft more than art.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
well run, good quality and variety of fine art & crafts, breakfast at the Figge museum both days, also restrooms there.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Half of the booths are on the street, half in the Plaza. For the artists on the Plaza, load in and especially out is difficult. Vehicle access is extremely limited, lots of dollying required.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
ask for a booth on the street!
