Good Things about this Art Fair:
I found this to be a great show. The venue and promoters were lovely. Its located in a very nice affluent neighborhood.
Load in and out was a breeze. The exhibitor party on Friday night was great. There was live music, great food and alcohol, and an awards ceremony with generous cash prizes. It feels nice to be appreciated!
What could this Art Fair have done better?:
It was a bit low in attendance. Sunday was especially slow. But the people who were there were buying and lovely customers who appreciate fine craftsmanship. My sales were great given the amount of people that were there.
The Kenan Campus is beautiful, but the building that the show is located in is an old metal building so it was really hot on days when the weather was warm ( we lucked out and had a pretty cool weekend) but you may want to bring a fan.
Also the internet connection was very problematic. Many exhibitors including myself were struggling with payment processing. But overall it was a wonderful show and I will definitely be back.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Great show if you are in the Northeast. My husband and I stayed at Niagra County Campgrounds (pet friendly which was a plus!) We rented one of their adorable little cabins which was wonderful. Its a great little campground and pretty quiet since its early in the season. Its only about 15 min from the Kenan Center.
I really liked that we could load in on Thursday night, then the show did not start until Friday at 5 so we had most of the day on Friday to explore the Niagra Falls area.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
I recommend it!

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Committee does everything possible to make artists comfortable and maintain a high class feeling for this venue, although it's a metal building that seems to be an old ice rink perhaps.
Lovely grounds, artist party is outstanding, food available to artists at the show, real bathrooms in the arena.
Close to local stores and eateries, camping in the lot allowed me to save on expenses.
I had a poor space and will give it another try- quality of work was very good to excellent with only a couple exceptions, in my opinion.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
There is no air movement- 'garage' doors are closed and I could see that a hot day would make this building sweltering. NO AC.
Clientele seemed older, many come in support of the Kenan Center- there is an admission fee, not sure if it's a donation or required, which cuts down on casual foot traffic, although those that come, are there to look at the work.
The annex area, a new addition, was poorly attended.
Lovely, nice customers, but not enough of them.
Raffle announcements were a bit annoying over loudspeaker.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Bring fans and lights that aren't hot. The show provides power.
Set up is going through metal doors, garage sized or door sized, could get crowded- people park and block access to doors sometimes.
If you need tons of customers to pass by in a huge human stream to sell impulse items, this isn't the show. High end can move, seemed to be some monied customers in the patrons- I don't get the feeling that really weird or wild would work here.
There are discriminating buyers here, but there weren't hordes of people, just a steady stream. Shoppers look carefully, and they give you the opportunity to tell them about your work.
Expect to be very well treated and an easy setup and tear down, a very pleasant show.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
This show doesn't allow 2 D work, framed mixed media is as close as it gets.
