Good Things about this Art Fair: This show is a tradition. The atmosphere, food and entertainment is great.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: This show has seen its day. Exhibitors are slowly not returning. This show is three weekends - it would be better if it was a two week show.
No plastic is allowed in the traditional part of the show - bags, price tags - even sheeting when it rains and it always rains at least one weekend.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: This is a nice show but it is not what is used to be. Be prepared for any type of weather. Exhibitors, in the traditional areas, are required to dress is period costume.
Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form): I'm giving this show one more year then I'm moving on to another show.

Good Things about this Art Fair: my booth was in the shade had it been really hot out I had an ideal spot.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: I felt that it was too expensive to sign up, if you are chosen you absolutly must sell all three weekends or send someone in your place. There is an award given to "first timers " and would cover the cost for the following year but they gave it to someone who was NOT a first timer mearly because she showed up even though she had to have emergency surgery a few days before and she still came...well that was the rule it made me angry I probably will not show there again because of the high fee
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: try to find a "median " range for pricing, and something that is inexpensive and child friendly...I found there were alot of kids and the price for admission was high as well as the cost of food and it seemed like alot of the people were just there to eat and "do something with the kids" so if you have something for kids it will increase your sales
