Good Things about this Art Fair:
It was relatively easy to load into this show, since we were able to pull our vehicle right up to the curb behind our booth.

What could this Art Fair have done better?
First, and this is nothing against the actual show... my first experience of the area was stopping at a McDonalds to grab a coffee and use their rest room to find someone shooting up in the stall next to me. Red flag #1.

Then, there is very little signage for this show. I had to drive around in circles looking for the tiny park it was in.

Don't let the Zapp listing fool you, it's not a prestigious park. It's a tiny neighborhood park with a single gazebo in a run-down neighborhood. There were boarded up properties all throughout the surrounding neighborhood.

Load in was 'relatively' easy, only because you COULD pull right up behind your space. This was after being screamed at by several other artists... it felt like you had to fight to load in without any guidance from the show staff.

They also advertised it as a prestigious tourist area... but I never saw any tourists other than the other artists. All the attendees appeared to be local and none of them had budget to spend. I even got haggled on more than one occasion on some of my lowest priced pieces!

More often than not I sat in my booth twiddling my thumbs waiting for even a window shopper to happen by. The most exciting sale I had was a trade with a neighbor artist.

There are NO artist amenities to speak of. I was by myself this weekend, and was lucky my neighbors would watch my booth for the 5 minutes it took me to use their porta-potties.

And local hotels? Virtually nonexistent and also in terrible neighborhoods.

I lost money on this show, and honestly felt hoodwinked by their false advertising. I have no idea how this show supposedly won a 'sunshine' award.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
DON'T DO THIS SHOW. It's bad, the area is bad, and the amenities at the show and in the town are bad.

What prompted you to submit a review today?
This was one of my worst shows ever, and I wanted to ensure others knew to avoid this show.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Load in and out is super easy.

What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Just about everything. You pay a jury fee, but everyone gets in.

Loads of buy/sell. It's misleading name. No artist amenities.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
DON'T.

This show is one step up from a flea market. This town does not support handmade, and there aren't enough tourists to make up the difference.
