Good Things about this Art Fair:
Attractive downtown area, there is space behind the booth, they provided water a couple times.
There was a flush restroom one-three blocks from artists. Portable toilets 2+ blocks away. Food trucks.
What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Disclose set up as Saturday morning after 6 a.m. That was very unclear. Many arrived Friday evening to setup and could not.
Host workers for the organization were generally rude and unpleasant.
At least 30% commercial/retail. The retail was not all non-profit as they said. Obvious buy-sell.
Loud rock music all day Saturday which drowned out violinist and classical guitarist also playing. That was terrible.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
The people came for the beer, the loud music and food trucks. Most past by without looking either way. This was NOT an art show. Even jewelers did poorly here I was told.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
A short rainfall came 2 pm on Sunday. Most vendors packed up and left along with the few people that came out.
They have new vendors every year I was told by a lady visiting my booth. I think I know why.
