Good Things about this Art Fair:
Very pretty location. They gave us some free wine at the end?

What could this Art Fair have done better?:
So much. Advertise at all for one. Move the location of the actual show closer to the busy road (the grounds were very large)

Perhaps they should be charging less for the booth spaces considering how little foot traffic the show got.

I would also say maybe they shouldn't be charging an entrance fee-it isn't very well known and wasn't offering any entertainment or something to justify the initial charge-I saw several people come up out of curiosity and leave when they realized had to pay just to walk around.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
I wouldn't. I only talked to one artist who managed to break even, and we all had a very long time to get to know each other since we weren't making sales (except a few to each other).

This is not the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show. It seemed like several artists where under the impression these where the same show.

What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Not sure what happened. Maybe the signs being up too soon. Couldn't see the show from the road.

Not an easy place to move into for setup. Better organization would have helped. Take responsibility.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Think long and hard before deciding to do this show. A few artist packed up and left after the first day. It could have been a wonderful show, and maybe in a few years it will be.

Additional Commentary on this Show:
Several of the artist I spoke to were under the impression this show had been held for years and was well established, only to find out this was the first time.

Ok, willing to work with first time shows. But there were just too many things that weren't adding up, and made me wonder what exactly happened.
