Venue: was changed after we paid, which ok it happens BUT at least offer the artist an out or a credit. Last year it was in a park nearby and just did ok, it was not worth the booth fee, and should have known better to be returning, but at least, we thought, it was populated park with water feature. This year was moved (less than a month before show) to a vacant parking lot under a sketchy bridge with a lot of homeless and very very low attendance. Promoter claimed that it was due to construction in area (total lie we checked), and that people complained about the difficulties of setting up on grass (also a lie).
To say this show was a complete flop is an understatement. It was totally unacceptable and unfair to all vendors... and for $500 booth fee the promoter Danna plus the cost to buy insurance, should have at least charged half that. I wouldn’t have paid $200 to be here, that’s how terrible of a location and quality of show. This was truly a shady operation...
We will absolutely be reporting her and her business to the Better Business Bureau because this show was the biggest rip off I have seen in 20+ years of showing in art festivals.
And if you’re still not convinced, this is not a “music festival” it is more like bad karaoke night. I do not recommend this show or any by Danna Tullis. Also, not that I care much about the food provided, but doughnuts and coffee is not continental breakfast.

I’m at the 2019 show. It’s absolutely horrible. We were moved from the park location to a parking lot under an overpass less than two weeks before the show. A flimsy excuse about construction blocking the park was given. I have driven all around the park and there is no construction going on that would interfere with the show. The lady running the show is rude and disrespectful to vendors. I will be sure to never apply to any shows promoted by this group again.
Instead of the 1000s of attendees at this show, there are 10s of attendees. I can’t sell anything if there are more tents than customers.

The Colorado Springs Music and Art festival in 2018 was poor. The venue was decent in a nice park in an industrial part of town. The event coordinator was not friendly and often rude and even threatened the vendors with shutting down their booths for not parking in the right area. A reminder of parking rules would have sufficed but instead she made unnecessary threats and was very unprofessional.
It was a juried show and the artists were required to pay a jury fee and apply in a specific “art” category. So to my surprise my booth was located near a soap sales person, a honey vendor and a candle sales vendor. So what “art” category were they??? Over all the sales were terrible and foot traffic was mediocre. I would not participate in this show again.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
It was a beautiful location. The weather was wonderful. The promoters were very helpful and supportive in whatever ways they could be. It seemed organized well; layout good. The music was high quality and the artists were high caliber as well.
Attendees were quality and of mid to upper income it seemed. Sales were good. I would do this show again.
What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Not sure.... Would always love even more traffic.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
People seemed to be looking for unique and quality gifts. So for gift items.... bring a variety, this usually helps sales and have your display be interesting and items easily available for the public to connect with.
I am not sure how the higher end art/sculpture did.
