I do this show every year. It is one of my better shows. I agree with Raoul that this was a down year. I made about 1/2 of my normal. It didn't rain but it was pretty cool. The weather can be a problem {as with all outdoor shows}. They charge a $5.00 entrance fee to get into the show and I think most of the people I have met are pretty savvy about what they are looking for. I'm a painter and I have had some very interesting discussions with customers, whether they buy or not.

I did the Clothesline Festival this year and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. This year seemed to be the off-year for this show or at least that's what other artists said.
The weather sort of cooperated, it didn't rain but it was cold. There were lots of crafts, jewelry, pottery, and photography but a little less on the fine art.
The guy next to me, great guy, was selling things that said Rochester on them. Didn't see that one coming.
I'll have to think about going back.
