I did this show in 2017 and 2018.
The first year was slow for me. Several artist appeared to hit it out of the park, some suffered. I covered costs and made a $800 profit selling photography.
In 2018 the show was moved from the streets of Aspen to a city park. The traffic was a bit lower, but the buying clients were better. May have been due to more advertising. Several customers mentioned lot's of flyers and adds. In 2018 I had an excellent show.
The organization was much improved in 2018. While both years had coordinated put in times, things went smooth in 2018 (other than the weather). There were 3 coordinators and all three were helpful. One of them actually was assisting artists at takedown. I applied again in 2019.

I did this show this year, 2016. It was good weather, the location was good. The set up went smoothly. Only one porta pottie that I could find, three blocks away. Lots of cute dogs. A few buyers. I made my fees, but would have like to make a profit. So, more traffic would have been nice. I do not think the show promoters advertise. Aspen is a very nice area. We stayed at Snow Mass, and took the bus to town. It went very smoothly, and was only $110 a night.. We did not have to drive our car until the last day. However, I do not like the promoters at all. I hate the idea of ever applying to one of their shows ever again, even though, I could probably do better next year.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
It's Aspen.
The first day the crowds were HUGE, partly because it's a typical Saturday in Aspen with the very popular Farmer's Market close by.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Set up was a bit wonky and attendants were actually rude to me.
2nd day of the show was very slow.
Our street was perpendicular to the main drag, and didn't seem to draw the people to our street.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
From what I gathered talking to artists before going and during this show, it's hit or miss. Some people have done well one year and not the next. The people next to me had not done it in a few years, and said they will not return. They sold product, but not enough to make them come back.
The lady on the other side of them did not sell anything, and I sold one small piece. Nobody around me sold much if anything. The big challenge for those of us where we were located was that it was an off shoot from the main drag that seemed to get all of the traffic.
The town was dripping with $$ the first day of the show, but I didn't see anybody walking by with anything they had bought.
I don' t know if there is any rhyme or reason to what this show was. It might work for you, it did not for me.
