Good Things about this Art Fair:
Setting up was easy. We got to drive up to our spot and drop off our stuff which made it super easy. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. During the show people would come by offering water and snacks to the vendors which was nice for those on their own.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Crowd was a bit thin on Saturday, but the weather could have had something to do about it.....rain was threatening even though it only sprinkled once or twice. Sunday the crowds were better but strangely enough my sales were better Saturday. This was my first ga show and I was a bit disappointed that I didn't do better. We spoke with other vendors and found many told us it was their first time at this show as well, which is never a good thing.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
The quality of work by artists was great. I was told by another vendor that the fall show is much more lucrative.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
Overall I enjoyed doing the show and would consider doing it again in the hopes that it was the weather that caused the lackluster sales.
