Good Things about this Art Fair:
Lovely park, easy enough to load in/out. You have to cart your booth in, no driving to your location.
The staff are really great, treat artists very well!
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Weather can be a killer, over 100 a couple years ago, so folks don't turn out. And it can be quite miserable for the artist!
Also, I don't like the three day show - Fridays are always very lightly attended, and a very long day.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
The economy of the area is still recovering, it's not a large population area. If your travel costs are low, you might try it.
The quality of the art seems to be going up over the years, I think the art center is working at making it a higher quality show.
I really like the people on staff and the people attending the show, so I'll continue to participate for now.
It's not a big money maker for me, but I'm so limited for shows in my area, I'm taking what I can get!

Good Things about this Art Fair:
It is in a nice park setting with fairly easy load-in and out although you can not drive right to the booth on the grass. Helpful staff and well organized.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Roseburg is still economically down from Oregon's timber industry downfall. It is not close to any other metropolitan area so it is a tough art sell.
Sales were below my average show and at three hours drive I'm not sure I will do this one again.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you are local (100 miles) go for it but it is not a high end venue.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
Poor Roseburg, they try so hard. I might just do this show again because I like the people!

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Location - nice park-like setting with sunny spots and shade next to a busy street.
The staff - everyone was super friendly and personable.
Booth fee is low.
Plenty of space around booths, they aren't crammed together like a lot of other shows.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
It was a VERY hot weekend. Temps in the 100's. I had to duck inside for some A/C a few times just to take a break. It was pretty brutal.
Of course, this had a large influence on the turnout. So please discount my attendance rating. This is a small town. As such, there aren't as many savvy art buyers in the area, but the ones that are there, are very appreciative, educated and genuinely interested in your work.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Might be a good one to try out. Booth fee is low. My booth fee to sales ratio was very good.
The quality of art is so-so. As such, if you have decent work, your work might just stand out. If you have really expensive work, it might be more of a crap shoot.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
There is a very strong effort going on to build this show up further. I feel that the organizer has a strong art eye and wants to bring more quality art to the show. List this show under "up and coming".
