Good Things about this Art Fair:
Easy load in and out. Could even park close by during fair. Huge crowd for the main event - much of it trickled over into the art fair.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Not the kind of pampering of the artists that I've experienced at other shows with this kind of booth fee.
Had to provide my own tent, no staking, high wind one day caused problems.
Had to use portapotties at night because they closed the real bathrooms (and of course that's when you'd really rather use a bathroom!)
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Have a heavy duty tent with good weights. Be prepared for any kind of weather in St. Louis in September - it was cold one day, hot another.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
I would say that contemporary art was selling better than vintage or more conservative works at this fair.
