Did the show this year, 2023. Worst show all year. $200 in sales my average for last two years was $5k per show. Low attendance. Judging was unfair and show favoritism. They will argue it was blind but one artist, whose is the wife of one of the show hosts, won two awards…and her painting an are easily identified. Some deserving artist won. awards but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when this happens. Many people left a day early. One artist told me that last year they had $$16k in sales and this year under $500. The crowd was less than 2000 people the whole weekend. We all started backing up early.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
The load-in for the show setup was time-slotted, booth sitters available by text or call, plenty of food choices, affordable hotels nearby, good variety of art.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Many repeat vendors said that attendance for this show and sales was probably half what it was last year. Turns out there were two different events going in the same area. I sold less than half what I expected.
The wind was howling the first day. They don't call it Gulf Breeze for nothing!
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Call ahead and get a camping or hotel spot well in advance. This show fell during Spring Break so hotels were at a premium. We camped about 30 minutes away.
