Good Things about this Art Fair:
Very cool vibe and really liked the set up in that majority of spots were single lines of tents allowing flow through my booth from two sides.
The folks running the show were extremely friendly & the festival goers really seemed like they were coming out to buy. My high priced items sold quickly as did my neighbors higher priced/large pieces.
Myself & neighbors on either side all made 2-3k on the first day alone (and that was with rain from 1-5pm). The weather was pretty crappy the 2nd day as well, but there were still huge crowds!
There were not a lot of jewelers...which is a rarity! Great news if you make jewelry like me!
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Breakdown was a bit chaotic, but well worth it given the sales.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Jump on it, but bring a hand truck for load out in case you aren't close to a cross street.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
I've been at the Peter Anderson Festival for three years now. I do fantasy art---dragons, knights, faeries and such. It's great to see I'm as accepted as any traditional painter.
It has great sales, traffic, support from the local collectors and public, brisk sales and good bathroom facilities.
The booth fees are reasonable, $250 for a 10'X10' space, with a $25 jury fee. I love the Show but the set up and tear down...
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
The BIG downside is the load-in and load-out. You have from 4am til 8:30 am on Saturday to set up, which is messy because they don't provide electricity.
Teardown is VERY DIFFICULT! The tents are on the public streets, everyone is leaving at once and you have TWO hours to be completely torn down and off the streets. I mean the Police nag you to get off because they open them to traffic.
Most artists I talk to at other Shows say there is NO WAY they could tear down and be on the road in two hours. For me, it's rough and I pay for help. If the Chamber could deal with the set up and tear down problems, this could be THE premier Fine Art Festival of the Southeast Coast!
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Great Show but be prepared for a lightning fast tear-down and set-up.
Great sales and collectors and people....really really rough teardown!
What prompted you to submit a review today?
I love the Peter Anderson Festival and if they could fix the set up and tear down problems it would bring more artists into from all over!
