Good Things about this Art Fair:
Promoter is awesome. Great mix of product, crystal clear rules, and enforced. Wet week leading up, sent emails to everyone to insure we had dollies b/c they would not destroy the park with cars. Dried up during the show and they let us drive in to load. Came to every vendor and re-stated the break down rules. Came around with a little gift and a snack. I would do any show that Chuck and Lori promote, but this is their only one!

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Apparently some vendors don't read the rules, then complain when they are enforced. The guy next to me complained about poor sales, but had his nose in a book or newspaper all day. Anyone with poor sales cannot blame the crowd or the promoter - get a mirror?

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
RV parking at the nearby state park is primitive. Don't book a room across the bridge - $8.00 toll (only one way but still). Wonderful town, super friendly folks. Show is on the water overlooking the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay. If you are a fisherman, go early or stay late and try to nail a Striper or two. The Susquehanna State park is a photographers dream, never saw so many butterflies and deer!
