Good Things about this Art Fair:
Easy going and considerate organization. They are making a real and aggressive effort to eliminate buy and sell.
This year, 2015, they abandoned the 10% of sales plus booth fee. The booth fee was raised to make a fair contribution by each booth.
In an effort to upgrade the quality of the show and get a better balance they also completely rejuried - taking out grandfathered booths.
The staff is making a real effort to produce a quality art and craft show.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
The show is very heavy in craft - country craft.
If your work is contemporary / abstract / modern you won't find an audience here.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Don't travel far for this unless low end country craft is your thing. If you're close (four state area) and your art work is representational (nature/horses/landscape) you should give this a try!

Did the Bella Vista Fall Arts & Crafts Show this year (Oct, 2014).
Location: 5
Facilities: 4
Ease of participating: 5
Sales: 2D Ouch, Crafts 5
Overall:4
Attendance 5
The show was well run, with plenty of volunteers willing to help with everything from setup & takedown to booth sitting. Many smiling faces and the people running it were extremely helpful and nice.
Setup was easy, drive in and set up. Unfortunately I had 2D art and it did not sell. I checked with the other painters and photographers and none said they did much, if anything. Crowds were great during all three days. Crafts were selling the best. One potter had a buying line at his booth most of the three days. This crowd was after crafts only and there were many excellent ones there.
I enjoyed myself immensely, talking with people and other vendors and seeing all the wonderful crafts. It was a very friendly show.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Attentive staff always at your call. Always greatly attended with plenty of people willing to spend. Weather normally cooperates.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Sometimes the planning committee does not place vendors where they should be, I.E. food/drink vendors mixed with art/craft vendors. Vendors selling the same product to closely grouped.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:Apply early if you are new to this show as it fills up early. Approx. 250 vendors and over half are repeats.
