Good Things about this Art Fair: No seeded artists. Nice time of the year (usually), first weekend in October. Last year it was rainy on Saturday but cool and sunny on Sunday. Close (for me, I live two blocks away). Easy setup, park next to tent. Nice people running the show. Located in a pleasant residential neighborhood on the center of a divided street. Was able to rent a tent from the organizers. Save environment although apparently some artists were concerned about being in a mixed city environment - the houses on the street cost multiple hundreds of thousands and are maninly professionals. Art appeared to be top rate.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Paid entrance, $7 for the weekend. No electricity although have been told that they are working on it. Many of the residents put up artists. Weather is usually nice but, like last year, can spring a suprise.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Last year was my first year to participate and have attended for many years. No major concerns.
Additional Commentary on this Show: This was my second and currently last art fair so I have difficulty in commenting on how they compare with other art fairs. Just starting, I know that I did not do a lot of things to maximize my sales and believe that I can do much better if I am selected this year.
