Good Things about this Art Fair:
Wonderful location and the staff were very helpful. Easy to set up and tear down. Staff came around to check on vendors several times throughout the day.

Great traffic flow and I had good sales for a for time vendor.

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
The weather was awful. Nearly had a heat stroke. Of course this may not be an issue every year.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Be sure to request electric. August is usually a hot month and there is little shade other than your your tent. Bring fans both for yourself and customers will appreciate it as well.

Additional Commentary on this Show:
I had very good sales and lots of traffic. I even got high praises for my both setup. This was my fourth show for the year and I learned a lot at each one.

Good Things about this Art Fair: The people running the fair were very friendly and made sure that the artists were taken care of. Several times during the day volunteers came by to offer coffee, donuts, water, etc. They even provided a boxed lunch for artists. People were on hand to help set up booths, carry things, and help as needed.

Bad Things about this Art Fair: Location. I think many patrons were confused as to why the fair wasn't on or closer to the bridge. The location of the fair seemed a little out of the way. 2 booths down from us was a booth putting in fake hair extensions.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: This is a newer art fair in a smaller town. Even the largest art fairs had to start somewhere, I think that as the fair grows that it will improve.
