Good Things about this Art Fair:
Fort Collins is an arts supportive community, the venue is well-attended, you can pull up to your space to unload and load
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
No advertisement for arts/crafts booths-- not even mentioned on their website, Attendees not there to do much but drink craft beer and go to concerts.
Other artists said this show was a total bust now. Sales were dismal for art/craft people especially with a 300.00 booth fee and 65.00 insurance fee, no booth sitters or real bathrooms, looong hours 10-9pm and 10-8pm
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Go to the Denver Downtown Denver Art Festival the same weekend?
Additional Commentary on this Show:
It is not an arts show in any real way. Most patrons were shocked at original art prices (and my prices aren't that high).

Good Things about this Art Fair: It was profitable and not a total bust
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Friday evening set up was only from 6-8 pm. Paid attendance, with most people coming for the music or food, not art. Not the promotors fault but High Park Fire started Satruday and streets were smoke filled Sunday. Couldn't tell if a stop light was red or green a block away. Ash in both and on work overnight Saturday. My medium is leather. Table top blankets had to be aired to get rid of smoke odor. Felt sorry for garment people there.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Lots of buy/sell and commercial booths. Very little art and most was mediocre.
Additional Commentary on this Show: I did this show because I was looking or a $2K venue north of Denver. There is money in this area but not at this event. Not impressed with the art or food.
Weird statistic: very few sales but highest average sale for most of summer. Sales were in the $1K to $2K range and did not make $2K minimum I require. I will not apply to this event in 2013.
