Good Things about this Art Fair: Easy setup & parking, great volunteers, nice offerings for the artists (dinner reception, food & drink from the hotel nearby), fairly good crowd with some who were knowledgable about B&W photography (my medium). I had a lot of positive feedback on my work, and I was honored to receive First Place in the Photography category.

Bad Things about this Art Fair: My only gripe is that while the fair did request that everyone breakdown completely before driving their vehicle to their booth area, that wasn't enforced. As I pulled in to get my already packed up items, a LOT of vendors had gotten their vehicles prior to tearing down.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: I think this is a good show for anyone living in the area, but the sales I saw wouldn't make it worth while if I had to drive in from out-of-state.

Additional Commentary on this Show: While this fair ended up being my best for sales at Colorado shows so far, it was only a couple hundred dollars more than I've made at other small-mid sized fairs. Overall the sales were slow and considerably less than I had expected (mine were under $700), and heard this from other artist there as well.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Crowds on Sat were huge, around 10 am when show began the street was crowded. My booth stayed crowded most of sat. Parking was easy for artists, The buyers were there on Sat. not so much on Sun.
Had a reception for artists on Fri night and i thought food was excellent, We all spoke among ourselves. Good vibes. booth sitters were plentiful and even brought sandwiches and drinks to artists who were alone. Saw no buy/sell so they kept the show clean and very good art.

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
It was a long walk to get to the van when artists parked on sat and sun. Breakdown went smoothly except for one or two who brought in vans before they were broken down. Lots of dogs even though it said don't bring your dog. Artists also brought their animals

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Come prepared for 95 degree weather, either set up early or late.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Very well promoted in print and TV media. Well managed by experienced staff. Very competent jury - no buy/sell gets into this s how,and top of the line art work. Definitely promotes Colorado artists, followed by NM, UT, AZ, TX,CA, and a few from WA, DC, FL.

Bad Things about this Art Fair: Minor problem with same volunteer this year as in 2011 about take down procedure. Got problem solved by taking it to Executive Director.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: This is a competitive show to get into.
