Good Things about this Art Fair: Early for Colorado shows, well managed, no buy/ sell

Bad Things about this Art Fair: Runs to 9 pm Friday and Saturday, but little traffic and pointless to stay open that late. Cash awards given for Best of Show 1,2,3 places.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Grand Junction is the largest town on the western slope. There is lots of energy industry money and agriculture money in the region.

Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form):Set up is easy and starts at 9 am on Friday and show opens at 4 pm Friday. Saturday hours are 10 to 9 and Sunday hours are 10 to 4. Well juried and quality work exhibited. Live music runs during the entire show. Setting is recently landscaped downtown street with booths in street parking bays. Lots of good restaurants.
My medium is leather and I had originally planned to do the show in 2011. Show management called me because they had to eliminate about 50 booths because of construction. I wanted to do the show because in the early 1990's I had a dealer in GJ who sold my saddles. See blog by clicking name below.
