I have only attended this show as a patron once this year (2016) and as an artist, IMO, it had really high quality work and a LOT of people were buying right away. It looked to be quite well attended and there IS money in this area. It would be a show I'll try to get into.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
This show is on the campus of St. Kate's University in St. Paul.

Load in was easy for me even though we could not pull up to our spot. Load out was just as easy.

The organizers have their stuff together! Water was delivered to the artists and they did a great job taking care of us.

The crowd was there to shop and many showed up early. I did well at this show and am looking forward to hopefully participating again next year. I was busy all day with very few opportunities to catch my breath between waves of people coming into my booth...it was a great experience!

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Load in Load out might be tricky if you have a lot of things to haul.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Patrons come expecting high quality goods and are definitely there to shop and will spend the money with you if they like your work! Bring your best!

Additional Commentary on this Show:
This was a great one day show for me!

I have done this show a few times now and sales and crowds have been good.

Overall: 4
Booth Fee vs. Your Sales Ratio: Good

Good Things about this Art Fair: It's a beautiful setting, large space around or behind booths. Attendance is moderate, but those who attend, come to buy. Patrons are very nice and organizers bring around water and snacks for artists.

Bad Things about this Art Fair: Load in and load out are not the easiest due to the way the grounds are laid out. The weather can be "ify", but it's MN, that's pretty much normal here.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Patrons seem quite educated, quality and uniqueness of work seems to matter more than pricepoint. This is a high quality, fine art and craft show, no "crafty" stuff here.

Additional Commentary on this Show:
I've done this show for 3 years and my sales have gone up each year. Seems like an artist has to "prove" themselves to the patrons. It's a great one day show for me.
