I did this show also. It was one of my best for the summer in Colorado and I do shows there every year. They did a great job jurying-lots of high quality, good variety of artists. This crowd did buy and most artists were happy with the results. The weather was cooler than Denver and a great break from the summer heat. HOwever, Richard is right-an hour long shower w/lightening did not stop the show and customers came back and bought. Staff was very helpful and well organized. I would do this show again.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Easy set up and take down. Excellent support of artists. Nice setting in park of lodge pole pine and deep surface of wood chips and forest duff - easy to stand on all day.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: City tax license of $60 required but booth fee is low ($145). Not an exceptionally large crowd but there is a high percentage of buyers. Weather (rain and wind) can be a problem but artists and patrons deal with it. Nobody goes home just because of an hour long afternoon thunder and lightning storm. Nothing really bad about the show.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Have lots of inventory. Come early or stay after the show to enjoy Colorado mountain activities in the Winter Park-Fraser Valley area - hiking, cycling, mountain biking, wildflowers, fishing, birds, wildlife, camping, relaxing in a mountain resort and etc.
