Good Things about this Art Fair: The people who run this show are very nice and work hard to make sure the artists are taken care of. Also, having participated in the fall TACA show prior to this event, I noticed that several people came by my booth who purchased work in the fall and made additional purchases. I feel this is a show has potential to grow in sales year over year.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:I did sell some large pieces, but for me this show was mostly about selling smaller items. It is right before Mother's Day so if you have something reasonably priced that people can give to their mother for Mother's Day that will be well received.

Good Things about this Art Fair: I saw a number of nice works going out.Impressed with the quality of work this fall. A number artist who I know had a good show. However price point was an issue for our work,However that did change when a day or so later after the show several patrons called and purchased pieces. We have in the past had very good sales and a number of nice commissions.Terri and Hanna and staff along with a wonderful group of volunteers at TACA are working hard to make this show a top ter show and I believe their well on there way. Nashville is just a great city to be in Spring and Fall.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Parking can be a bear, They are working on the problem.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: If you are an artist at the show, park were they have designated for the artist to park. TACA is a stickler on that rule.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Set up and tear down are a breeze. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to solve any situations that may arise. The crowd is a mix between shoppers and looky loo's but sales are always between good and great. Had my best Friday ever this year. The spring show is all Tennessee artists while the fall show is national artists. Both are great shows.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: It always seems to draw rain. We escaped it this spring until Sunday but you can count on rain. Go figure.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Both spring and fall shows bring out art buyers. All price ranges seem to sell. You are on grass in a beautiful park but just remember it's probably going to rain at some point.
Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form): I always look forward to the TACA shows. The staff is great and seem to have thought of everything. Layout is good. Indoor restrooms are available. This year area food trucks set up and was a treat to have something other than usual fair food.
