Good Things about this Art Fair: This is a by invitation only event held every year in Jan. As a participanting artist you have a scheduled date to deliver your work. The staff at the Temple have the rest down to a science. They hang, merchandise, bar code each item with your agreed upon pricing, collect all sales monies, pack and ship if required and take a commission. Their is no upfront booth fee or cost to the artist. The artist does not have to attend and can even be at another show the same weekend. They do throw a nice reception on Sat that you can go to if you like. Our check came promptly in the mail about a week after the show.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: I can't find any negatives in our case. Some artists may not want to give up a percentage of sales, but when you consider booth fees, travel and hotel at a regular show, this one is much easier to do by all accounts.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: I would plan on doing another event at the same time to get the max out of the weekend.
Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form): The staff is great to deal with!
