Good Things about this Art Fair: The support of the volunteers and organizers was great, very visible, always helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic. The weather was wonderful, the other artists were good at their element, friendly too. Rest rooms were clean and indoors. People who attended were interested in looking, browsing. Reasonable booth and jury fees.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Our tent was located over some cement parking barriers which I tripped over about once a minute.
Food offering was very limited so bring your own. I think I gained a pound or two munching on fresh, genuine Belgium waffles.... Yummy!
Lots of complaints about sales from several artists ..... not sure what happened to the buyers but they didn't attend!
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Short show, six hours from 11:00 - 5:00PM. It's difficult to call a one-day, short show a good or bad thing because it's so much work to set up and tear down, not to mention the expenses involved! If I had sold more, I would have considered this a downside of the show because I would have wanted to keep selling. It turned out to be more of a blessing since I could pack up and get home.
