I participated in 2017 and 2018. Never came close to making the booth fee and there were a number of artists who confided that they had made no sales at all. Although there is some good art, many more booths are occupied by crafters. Attendance was poor. There were some lookers, but few buyers - they were getting souvenirs from the crafters. The volunteers were wonderful but they were the only aspect of the show I can recommend.

Good Things about this Art Fair: The organization and the volunteers are the best! They take care of us by giving us drinks and snacks all day and feed us a wonderful dinner with adult beverages. They really care that we succeed! They get the community out to support the art fair and the artists. Parking is convenient and close.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: This year this was moved to a different location due to the near record flood of the Missouri river. Location is not good for artist. It is very steep. Great for music which is what this part generally hosts.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Is normally a nice show in a beautiful location by the river. Due to flooding recovery, people might not be willing or able to spend as much as they used to. Experienced the same in relation to another show.
Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form): Would love to see this show back in original location once it has been repaired. Another great location for this would be around the beautiful Sioux City Art Center in downtown.
