Good Things about this Art Fair:
Beautiful surroundings, mostly shaded and not on the street for the most part. Great extras such as homemade breakfast both days.
Weather was good for the most part during the actual show. Pretty good attendance. They advertised it well. Good variety of high end talent in this show. Much like St James.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
My only complaint was that they did not have a local group to help with unloading and loading, and they had all sidewalks blocked during setup so I could not even use my wheel cart to move my walls to my spot. This was major for me because I was alone. I do not have someone with me for some of my shows and it is always a wonderful addition to have a local group who may need to raise funds for their cause to help.
I did make some suggestions on this to the committee for next year so we will see. I definitely will contact ahead to see if this is going to be available next year and try to find help if not.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you end up on the street in this event, you will need to be sure you have ample ways to secure your tent because it seems on that side is where most of the brunt of the storms will hit.
Have carts that will go over any terrain, because even though it has sidewalks everywhere, they are blocked.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
I did well as far as placement in this show. Loved the town and the people running it. I placed 1st in category so that made up for the lack of sales. I talked to several other vendors and it was a slower show for most.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Great location. Easy to get setup. Great people working it.
Ease in getting to go out to bathroom and eat. Lots of shade and it was a nice layout for flow of people.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Some mix ups about booth spaces that could have been worked out before the vendors came to set up. Not as well attended as I had thought it would be. Sales low but then I did hear that first timers have to pay their dues.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Be prepared for some wait to get out of the show. I thought that part was a bit slow and unplanned.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
Overall I liked this show. I will do it again this year and see if it goes better as far as sales go.
The staff were very helpful even though it did not seem that they had their act together ahead of time.

I did this show for the first time 2015 and it was my first bigger show. I was very pleased with the help they offered even though they had some mix ups with changes in landscape. I was one of the mix ups and just told they that it was not a problem and they were very gracious to me. Was pretty simple to get unloaded and set up once I got my spot. Met some amazing artist and overall thought it was a worthwhile show to be in.
The big thing that confused me was how people seemed to be afraid to come into my booth. I have since learned that part of it was my booth setup and quickly changed it for the next show. I now have proper panels for the shows and should not have this problem. When speaking to a couple of other vendors who came to see my stuff, I found out that one of the things was that I was new to the show and had a completely new style of art to see and people are slow to warm up to you the first time. I will report back on how it goes this year.
I have requested to be placed in the shade this year so that should help too. It got pretty hot throughout the two days and I was at least blessed to have electric for my fan.

I did not see several shows that are in Kentucky. St James and Berea's various shows throughout the year. Just curious. I will be at both and St James for the first time and it would be nice to see a review on it.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
The volunteers are wonderful! They were very visible and made themselves known a few times both days. Booth sitters wandered the show and were available by cell phone.
The patrons are very very friendly! Interesting location with trains running through the center of town.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
The crowds did not seem very large. There seemed to be a lot of lawn art and kitchy crafts. Those sold best.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Parking is free. 2D art is appreciated and fawned over. But sales seemed to be mostly in the $100 range rather than high end.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
If you have a street side booth you can pull right up on the street to unload and load. Interior booths you have to cart to. They do have helpers that will come around and golf carts also.
