Good Things about this Art Fair: Easy load in and load out, nice hours not too long. Spokane has great restaurants, beautiful buildings and friendly folks.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: It can be nice weather like this year or pouring down rain like last year. Weather is a serious factor here. I've heard of years past where the weather was super hot, so who knows what you'll get.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Be prepared for weather good or bad. This year it was super nice. The trees in the park were blowing yellow puffs of pollen all weekend. It was so strange to see the tree cough up yellow clouds of pollen. Everything we had was covered in yellow pollen. We cleaned our glass show case every hour or two.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Location was great, weather was perfect for the entire weekend other than rain during the set up the day before. Volunteers were great, the director and admin staff were very responsive.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Sales were very hit or miss, some artists didn't make booth, but at least one painter we know sold at least one $2200 original right at the beginning of the show, another jeweler who has done this show 8 times had her best ArtFest ever.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you're not local it can be an "iffy" show and there really aren't any other events to combine it into a worthwhile road trip.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
We might try this again, seemed like all the right ingredients were there, it was the right buying demographics, good location, etc.
A local artist said the local paper had been full of "doom and gloom" regarding the economic situation so I think people were worried.
