Good Things about this Art Fair:
I attended WPSAF as an emerging artist. This was my first art festival ever and they made everything very easy for me. Everyone was so generous with their time and helpful advice for a newbie.
The emerging artists were given the royal treatment.
Great location, our tents were set up for us and there was help with expenses.
I am very grateful to the entire committee for a wonderful show experience
What could this Art Fair have done better?:
I could not think of a thing that would have made my experience better. I am afraid I have been spoiled. My expectations for future shows will now be very high.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
I have already advised an artist friend to apply as an emerging artist for next year. Get there early so that you have plenty of time for set up.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
I hope to have the opportunity to attend this show again as a juried artist. The quality of the work as well as the attendees was fabulous.

Bruce R: We hope to move your score up when you return. It's true to veterans know best booth locations and what the people are buying.
Helen G.: Thnaks for high 5s. Don't forget the $50K in patron dollars.
Candiss: Appreciate your support of our all- volunteer Board.
Renee E.: Your right about the sound level at the north end and the layout maze; we are working on those items for 2014.

Good Things about this Art Fair: nice area....lot of money but not a lot of sophistication.... although they would be the first to tell you... great if you have conservative art
tons of awards...but see above
booths on the street were busy
Bad Things about this Art Fair: awful show layout...there are a ton of bad booth locations...I estimated 15-20% of the people who attended the show actually walked by my booth....
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Chuck D said it best, "dont believe the hype" ... it's Orlando not Miami...if you have typical art festival art then go go go and make sure you get a good booth location...but you aren't missing much...

Good Things about this Art Fair: Perfect location for a show. The park is surrounded by upscale shops and an affluent neighborhood full of educated art patrons. The people in charge of this show are very proactive about getting to know their artists ahead of time. They educate themselves on each of the websites and promote the artists very well. I was very impressed with the show.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Can't think of a thing. They have it really dialed in after all these years.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Good location, large crowds, good music.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: The music is often times too loud if you are near the stage. Set up in the park can be difficult but you can do so the day before so at least it's leisurely. There are still bad locations in the park, it turns into a maze. We've started asking to be on the street. Only drawback is you have to set up morning of the show and it is much hotter than the park.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Start a mailing/email list as people come back year after year. If they didn't buy this year they just might next year.
