Good Things about this Art Fair:
Excellent show director who understands how to run a show. Set-up/tear-down was very easy. Paid attention to all the small details that make a big difference for artists. Cared about our well-being as bad weather moved in.
Crowd was small, but willing to buy!
What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Struggling to come up with an answer, everything was really well done. One small issue was conflicting information about location of certain things, like where to pay taxes before departure, but that is really reaching!
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
It is a modest show with lots of potential to grow. The areas of Ridgeland I visited were middle-to-upper class and the crowd seemed informed and eager to buy.

Good Things about this Art Fair: *
-fantastic treatment of artists
-easy set-up/down
-hospitality
-quality of artists
-it is clear that the people who run the show (Dale Rayburn, Mami Joe and H C Porter) have been art fair artists for a long time and really did everything right.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
-despite this, I am not sure if the city of Jackson is ready for this level of a show. There was a somewhat significant crowd Saturday, especially Saturday morning, who did buy with some enthusiasm that morning. After that, however, I talked to many who were surprised and delighted to have high quality artists there, but did not buy.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Worth trying, especially if you can link it to Bayou City the week before.
