I did this show for the first time in 2011 on my way to Ft. Worth (from FL). That worked well as I made enough to cover expenses for both shows ($4200). Information from regulars stated we would do about half the next year due to the fact that most of the patrons come every year and you are showing your work to the same people every year.
I wish I had known about the "library parking". I parked in the artist parking lot about 3 blocks away and when I went for my van on Sunday afternoon I found I had a broken window and lost about $900 worth of personal property.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
It's the kick-off to San Antonio's biggest party event of the year and usually well attended, especially if the weather is good.
There are choices to be in the parking lot, garden area or limited indoor space. Electricity is available if your willing to pay for it. I find the allotted set-up times easy to work with. Booth fees are very reasonable. Artist hospitality is pretty good. Great hours. It's an easy show to do for being mostly an outdoor setup.
Parking is provided on a limited basis. I park in the library parking lot for a small fee and find it well worth it to walk across the street to my truck.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
If it happens to fall on Easter weekend, the show doesn't seem to be well attended at all.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you have a mailing list for this area, use it.
It's a great show to fill in between other shows if you are on the road doing a tour.
