Ha I doubt most of the sales posted.
The people that attend this show go for the food, music and just for something to do,they aren't there to buy at all!
I really think the reviews above are fake.it's 2018 and No one is doing that great out there. Many great artists but they have to raise their prices so much to cover the booth space, lodging etc that its just not happening like that. Ive been there many years and see no sales at all except food and drink.
If you are an artist that lies on a site like this, realize that other artists see your review and decide to do a poor money maker because of it. its quite sad.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
First time ever, we sold out... and we are potters. This is unheard of.
Customers are informed, enthusiastic, and BUY.
We want to be judged by the work we bring to art fairs, and I believe Cherry Creek verifies the quality of one's work by visiting booths. I believe this helps us get into this show 3rd year running.
Extremely well organized and hired personnel are extremely helpful.
This show is the anchor of our art fair schedule and we go to about 12 shows a year and do wholesale.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Nothing to say bad about this show.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
When applying to this show, don't be restrained in selecting your most original pieces and ones that you love the most. I believe this show looks for creative, unique work.
The first year we were accepted, I had decided to submit my most artistic, one-of-a-kind pieces, not necessarily commercially salable. I gained a whole new respect for Cherry Creek's judges after this.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
I am not an art fair artist, I am a local artist who loves getting into this venue. This year was a very good year for me, that said, there were problems: construction in the area made everything harder including people getting to the fair.
Good news here is that the construction is done.
The volunteers are awesome bring you all the water you can drink along with snacks. If you get there early enough there is also breakfast.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Parking is an issue if you are late, so just come early and park on site.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Have good photos and be ready to dish out big bucks, the pay back is in great sales.....

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Had steady traffic all three days of show. People come to enjoy the art, but many come to buy. Sales were good. (Our art price point was $225 - $500.) The staff is organized and helpful. We received advance notice of a change in weather (from staff who came by the booth) and were prepared before sudden rain hit.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Not Cherry Creek's fault, but this weekend often seems to have a burst of rain or wind. Artists should be aware of the possibility in terms of protecting artwork from elements. We were fortunate to have stored pieces (that were not on display) in waterproof boxes, so the brief rain did no damage to our work.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Bring lots of water and snacks: July 4th can be a very hot weekend. Because of constant high traffic, I rarely left the booth all weekend, so it was good to have bottled water and granola bars handy for a 5 minute break -- that was about all the time I had.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
I did not understand the people's choice award form, and although we gave out many cards on request, we did not fill them in for the patrons. Since we are collaborating artists, the name I suggested to those who wanted to vote for us, turned out NOT to be one of the choices on-line. (My fault for being ignorant, but good advice for the rest of the artists out there.) Word to the wise. Find out how you are listed if you want folks to vote for you for awards.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Cherry Creek has always had the reputation and with that come expectations that even it can not live up to. Most exhibitors I know do really well, including me. I had an all time record show at CC this year. There are always exceptions. It is a good rule that if you do not sell well anywhere else, you probably will not here either. If you sell ok at other shows, you will likely sell well and if you sell well at other shows, you will probably sell really well here. It is still an art festival. That said, they do a lot of things right including maintaining quality at the show, giving artists plenty of room, being well organized and bringing in large crowds.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: I have always thought the show was too spread out, but this is nothing new and it seems to work for them. Bad storm can be a problem, just like with most shows these days. Storm effectively ended Saturday's show around 3 PM, but Sunday was a record day.

Good Things about this Art Fair: Great Staff, show location and layout, quality of artists, buying energy.
Bad Things about this Art Fair: Judging,
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: The most expensive booth fee I've ever paid - but worth it. A very difficult show to get into.
Additional Commentary on this Show (or about this form): Attendance was hampered by the weather, but I am concerned that their attendance projections are high. An estimated 360,000 were expected at this years show but doubt they got over 100,000. Again, poor weather kept the crowds down. Still, a great show in spite of this.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
There are many good things about this show, but as with most, the sales are the the thing that significantly impact my overall score/ranking of a show and sales were once again, for me, strong.
There were many people who did not have a good show this year and many who did, just like with most of the shows. It still ranks in my top 3 every year.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
-evening set-up (for two primary streets).

3D Mixed Media
“Welcome to Colorado – Here’s Some Water”. Volunteers came by very frequently with water (as did the owner of the Inn at Cherry Park on opening night and occasionally later) as well as snacks and there was always plenty of water in the artists’ “lounge” a couple blocks away.
Saturday, started when we unzipped and didn’t stop until well after 8pm on our way to our best one-day ever. Multitudes came through the tent while crowds waited outside. Packing up after the show, we discovered we’d sold about half of what we’d brought to Denver. We were very, very happy with our sales here. Load out was just as easy as load in.
We were impressed by the organizers, the volunteers, the publicity, the artists, the locals and the location and we’d be ecstatic to be invited back. Buyers came to this show and they bought from us. If they let us, we’ll be back. This is a great show.
