Good Things about this Art Fair:
Really nice location, load in was a breeze. Plenty of room. In an up-and-coming area with a lot of new development.

Show staff was AWESOME! Really took care of artists.

Sales weren't bad. It was a really easy show with a reasonable booth fee.

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Nothing really, except that the weather didn't cooperate. They gave artists the option to leave on Saturday night and most did. Staff ended up closing the show at 2 on Sunday instead of 6.

Fine art and fine craft mixed together, which can be a negative but I don't think it was here.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
This isn't a high-end show. But there was a wide variety of work and no over representation of any one category.

High-dollar items probably won't sell well here. I sold smaller items, but enough of them to make it worth it. I did okay even though the show was cut short.

Attendance: (1 is poor, 5 is great) 4
Location: 4

Booth Fee vs. Your Sales Ratio: Okay
Estimated Attendance: 501-10,000 people

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Helpful staff with booth sitters and golf carts to move your goods from booth to car. The venue is "on the street" in front of the curb and in front of stores.

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Only restroom open before stores open at 10 on Saturday, 11 on Sunday, is at check in area. This can be a LONG way from your booth.

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
Mall attendees can be good or bad but since I am a newbie, I am grateful for any attention I can get even though it doesn't translate to sales.

There are snowbirds that go to this show every year when they get to Florida from Canada. I had quite a few such comments.

Although I barely sold enough to break even I will be back.

Additional Commentary on this Show:
I talked to others: jewelers, a digital artist and ceramicists who said sales were considerably less than prior years. One added they felt sure the "crowd" was different and wondered about how the event was advertised.

Just thought I would pass that along.
