Good Things about this Art Fair:
The people running the show really care and work hard. Even though you have to dolly in there was plenty of time to both set up and take down. There were multiple doors so you could pick one which was convenient and fairly close to your booth.

There was almost no buy/sell. Other artists very nice. Their sales were just OK. They make it easy to participate. As an example, they don't make you buy a city business license like some events do.

What could this Art Fair have done better?:
Marketing Marketing Marketing. The people attending the show for the most part were killing time and really not interested in buying art. They were walking around carrying gooey food and wanting to handle my work.

How to attract art buyers is the question? Marketing

Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show:
If you are selling items which are $250 and less you have a shot. What is sold is more crafty than art for the most part. Artists who sold something similar to me were very low end.

Additional Commentary on this Show:
I probably would not do this show again. It is really a bad fit for me. My work is much higher end than this event.

Many artists lowered there prices in order to sell their work. I am not willing to do that. I have collectors who would cringe if they found out I was selling work at a discount.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
The staff is fabulous. I forgot my cords and they lent me some. There was music but not loud and disturbing. It was easy, but great, jazz, country-western and folk. Nice background to sales and didn't suck up customer energy.

They have vendor parking right behind the building so I could get inventory easily. Load out was easy. Everyone seemed in a good mood.

Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Can't think of any.
