Good Things about this Art Fair: There was a lot of people and good variety of art/crafts. It is indoors, so there is no need to worry when leaving merchandise in the booth at night.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
People really come to this show to purchase crafts and Christmas gifts, not fine art. If you're a craftsman this might be a good show for you, but for me it was the worst of the year. Combined with an expensive booth fee, it is not profitable enough for me to consider doing it again this year.
The hours are very long. Unloading and setting up was a bear. You can expect to wait a long time before finding a place to unload unless you're willing to dolly a long distance from the parking lot. Being December and usually bad weather that weekend, its not a great option.
Also there was not free parking for artists. Supposedly there was coffee provided but I could never find any or see anyone with coffee. I didnt see any volunteers or booth sitters.
There is absolutely NO room behind or next to the tents, so you can forget about storage or sitting outside the tent/booth. Each booth is quite literally on top of the next one. Storage is in the back of the building behind curtains. Every artist keeps all their stock back there just any place they can find room, and anyone has access to enter. I much rather keep my artwork closeby.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Good for craftsmen but not fine arts. Worst show for selling paintings yet. Also, get there as early as possible for setup.

Good Things about this Art Fair:
ODC Committee is very good to work with and markets this show effectively. Sales fairly consistent year-to-year.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
Fairgrounds charges artists for parking.
Advice to Other Artists Considering this Show: Load-in can be difficult, be prepared to wait for a decent load-in spot, especially in inclement weather. This may change-noticed a lot of reconstruction this year.
This is a fun show to do at the end of the year. Directors are sensitive to artist's needs. More commentary on my blog at ArtFairInsiders.com...

Good Things about this Art Fair:
Great staff, easy setup, and carpeted aisles.
Bad Things about this Art Fair:
People coming to see show but not buy. Too many long faces on artists in their booths.
Additional Commentary on this Show:
This years sow was the worst for sales of all the 11 times I have done it. Last year was very good. I left Columbus thinking that I might not come back as it is an eight hour drive for me. But I would hate to give up just for one bad year!!
